Who are we?

Palm River Academy is an English language center serving students in Hoi An and Danang. We offer English language courses for children from nursery age through upper secondary (20 months to 18 years old), using subjects such as Science and Mathematical Reasoning to teach English in a meaningful context. Students also learn English through integrated classes in Technology, Design, and Movement.

Our programs focus on building strong English language skills by engaging students in hands-on, interactive learning experiences. By learning English through subjects they are passionate about, students naturally expand their vocabulary, develop critical thinking skills, and gain confidence for real-world communication. At PRA, learning English is engaging, meaningful, and fun!

Regular Program

For families who are in Hoi An long-term and want a comprehensive English language education for their children.

Global Program

For families who plan on enrolling short-term, for 3 weeks to 3 months. The Global Program also includes full-day and partial-day options.

Little Adventurers: Ages 2-6

June 22 to July 24 (5 weeks, Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm)

Give your little one a summer full of discovery, creativity, and fun with our Little Adventurers Summer Program. Specially designed for our youngest learners, this 5-week program runs Monday through Friday in a fully immersive English-speaking environment.

Through a carefully planned range of age-appropriate activities, children will explore, create, play, and learn each day through hands-on experiences, outdoor play, arts and crafts, music and movement, and other activities.

Our nurturing teachers create a warm and engaging environment where children build confidence, develop social skills, and strengthen their English naturally through meaningful interaction and play. Join us for a summer of big adventures for little learners!

Explorers: Ages 9-12

June 29 to July 24 (4 weeks, Mon/Wed/Frid, 9am-11am)

Designed for curious learners ready to take their English further, our Explorers Program helps students strengthen their language skills through Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) - learning English naturally through engaging, real-world topics.

Running 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) in focused 2-hour sessions, this program combines language development with exciting subject-based learning. Students build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while exploring areas such as science, nature and space.

Perfect for English language learners, our Explorers Program encourages students to think critically, communicate clearly, and use English meaningfully in a supportive, interactive environment.

Innovators: Ages 12-16

June 29 to July 24 (4 weeks, Mon/Wed/Frid, 9am-11am)

Created for older students with stronger English proficiency, our Innovators Program challenges learners to deepen their language skills through Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).

Held 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) in dynamic 2-hour sessions, this program uses thought-provoking topics and real-world content to strengthen academic English, critical thinking, and confident communication. Students engage with areas such as technology, space, and science— all while refining their speaking, reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Where will the Summer Programs take place?

The Summer Programs will take place at our Tran Nhan Trong campus.

Are meals included?

Families can choose to participate in our meal program for an additional cost. The fee is 65,000 VND/day for the Little Adventurers Program, and 70,000 VND/day for the Explorers and Innovators Programs.

Who are the teaching staff?

The teachers for our summer programs are long-standing Palm River Academy teachers.
